Prof. Sean Cumming is a Professor in Paediatric Exercise Science at the University of Bath and one of the world's leading authorities on growth and maturation in young athletes. He is best known for pioneering the concept of bio-banding - grouping young athletes by physical maturity rather than chronological age - and has worked in research and consultancy roles with organisations including the Premier League, the Football Association, the Lawn Tennis Association, British Gymnastics, British Triathlon, and Bath Rugby.
