About Trace
Trace is a personal training and health coaching center in Ghent that combines strength training, prevention, and recovery. They work with people who want to move without pain, build strength sustainably and stay fit for everyday life, sport, and work.
‘Your Biological Age’ program
Using structured, data-driven screening instead of one-off wellbeing actions, Trace helps companies turn health into a real differentiator. For Teamleader’s award-winning ‘Your Biological Age’ program, Trace acts as the scientific and practical testing partner: in the first half of 2025, more than 180 Belgian employees were invited for personalized screenings where VO₂ max, body composition, hand grip strength, and other health parameters were measured and translated into an accessible biological age with clear strengths and work points.
Trace didn’t stop at testing. Employees were encouraged into small-group training, internal sports challenges, and events such as city runs, cycling tours, and a 1,000 km charity ride, turning the program into a shared experience. The result was higher satisfaction with health and wellbeing, more spontaneous conversations about sport and lifestyle at work, and visible engagement around activities that together raised thousands of euros for charity. How Trace structures this for companies
Behind all this is a very structured way of working: Peter and Mathis from Trace uses standardized test batteries, consistent protocols, and clear reporting so results can be compared across roles, locations, and follow-up measurements. HR and prevention teams receive anonymized and aggregated insights instead of a stack of individual reports, making it easier to decide where to invest in, and to track whether those choices make a difference over time.
Besides corporate programs, Trace applies the same philosophy to their clients and athletes, mapping strength, speed, explosiveness, and endurance to build a complete individual performance profile. Whether the client is a tech employee or a competitive player, Trace works from one core belief: if you’re not assessing, you’re guessing—every test should lead to clear, actionable guidance.
